Mexico's Association Jose Marti denounces US agressions against Cuba

The Association of Cuban Residents in Mexico 'Jose Martí' denounces the US government for arbitrarily including Cuba in the list of countries that do not cooperate in the fight against terrorism.

In a public statement, the association affirms that if there is a country that has suffered acts of terrorism incited and financed from US territory, that country has been Cuba, since from the first days of its Revolution, it underwent numerous types of sabotage, a military invasion and bacteriological warfare.

Even dozens of Cubans were victims of a cruel and cowardly blast of a commercial airplane in mid-flight; furthermore, 11 diplomats have been killed in their duties, among many other terrorist incidents occurred in 61 years, the complaint indicates.

Cubans residing in Mexico demand that there be a response from the Trump administration to the latest terrorist attack on the country's embassy headquarters in Washington.

'Likewise, we denounce the rise in aggressions against Cuba, increasingly exacerbating the US criminal economic, financial and commercial blockade that has prevented the acquisition of material and medical equipment for fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic,' the document notes.

The association condemns the defamatory campaign against the Henry Reeve medical brigade that is helping 24 countries in the fight against the novel coronavirus, with totally fake accusations that healthcare professionals are slaves.

The world has recognized their work, their professionalism, their altruism and solidarity; therefore, a broad international campaign is requesting Cuban medical brigades be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
