He wrote to comrades Pedro Valdivia, Enrique Hernández, Raúl Romero, Gilberto García, and Rafael López. These five Cuban emigrants had approached him at the end of the Palm Garden event in New York and volunteered to organize the 26th of July Patriotic Club of Union City. He gave them general instructions for the organization of the Club.
He wrote to Luis García Leal and other emigrants residing in Bridgeport to express his gratitude for their enthusiasm, seriousness, and responsibility in the struggle.
