Venezuelan newspaper El País publishes an interview with Fidel by journalist Omar Pérez under the title: "Cuban students will support the struggle against colonialism in Bogotá".
He leaves Venezuela for Panama where he meets with several students to invite to participate in the organization of a Latin American Student Congress. He remains in Panama for three days.
