Venezuela''s President, Nicolas Maduro, disclosed today through social networks the message of congratulation that he gave in Havana to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, on the occasion of his 89th birthday.
 
I share with you the letter that on behalf of our people I gave to Fidel Castro on his 89th birthday, Maduro wrote on his Twitter account, and attached a link with the text which he celebrates the lucidity of the Cuban leader, allowing him to be "always one step ahead."
 
In the letter, the president stressed the friendship maintained between the Cuban leader and late Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez, and thank his unconditional love to the people of his country and the memory of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.
 
He also recalls the first visit by Fidel Castro to Caracas 15 days after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, during which he stated that for being the homeland of the Liberator and have a formidable people, Venezuela was called to lead the union of the peoples of America.
 
Fifty-six years ago, his words already drew the Bolivarian Revolution, in them, our Eternal Supreme Commander, his son, friend and comrade of every hour was already riding, Maduro wrote referring to Chavez.
