The City Council of Láncara awards Fidel with the title of Adoptive Son of Láncara, the birth place of his father Ángel María Bautista Castro Argiz. Láncara is a municipality of the Lugo Province Calicia, from the Comarca of Sarria. He was named Adoptive Son of that place in the parish where the Puebla de San Julián council resides. July 28, 1992
