The most notable scene of the world revolution is now Latin America, and the ideas of Cuba's national hero Jose Marti lead these changes, intellectual Jorge Lozano said.
Speaking with Prensa Latina, the advisor of the Jose Marti Office said that the current historical stage has among its key features the internationalization of the productive forces of monopoly capitalism. Another issue, he added, was very remarkable, and that is that the new era in which we live marks the deepest human crisis in history, given that "never before has the moral regulation of mankind been so profoundly necessary," he said.
Marti is a contemporary of this "recently created historical epoch" Lozano said, adding that the first anti-imperialist revolutionary leader of world history was considered a master leader by the people of this Caribbean island.
According to Lozano, it is notable that the world's first anti-imperialist leader was a profound Bolivarian, in reference to the Latin American independence hero Simon Bolivar, whose thought is guiding the social transformations in Venezuela.
Among the activities to celebrate Marti's birth is the Third International Conference for World Equilibrium, a forum to be held at Havana's Conference Center, attended by about 600 delegates from 43 countries.
