Caracas to host Cuba-Venezuela Cultural Week
A Cuba-Venezuela Cultural Week will be celebrated as of Saturday in Caracas, commemorating the 159 anniversary of the birth of Cuban National Hero, José Martí, and 131 of his first visit to that South American country.

A Cuba-Venezuela Cultural Week will be celebrated as of Saturday in Caracas, commemorating the 159 anniversary of the birth of Cuban National Hero, José Martí, and 131 of his first visit to that South American country.
Venezuelan Minister of Culture, Pedro Calzadilla, said the event’s program includes some 30 different activities and will run until next January 28, date of birth of Martí.
The Center for Latin American Studies “Romulo Gallegos” and the House of the Americas “José Martí” will be the main venues for the event.
During that week, the Venezuelan public will enjoy concerts, movie showcases, exhibitions, conferences, and book presentations.
