- Announcement at the Ministry of Transport that the Cabinet had agreed to confiscate the Allied Omnibus Cooperative (COA, Spanish acronym) and “Autobuses Metropolitanos” company.
- A cable is sent to George W. Healy Jr., President of the American Society of Newspaper Editors, accepting his invitation to speak at their convention held in Washington on April 17.
