Casa de las Americas convenes the second Encounter of young artists and writers of Latin America and the Caribbean, to take place Dec. 14-18 in Havana, Cuba.
The event, entitled "Casa tomada", will gather creators born after 1967, to propitiate an inter-disciplinary dialogue that set a value on the role of culture in the region.
High on the agenda of this encounter are issues including migration, cultural resistance and sense of belonging.
One of the objectives of these encounters, founded in 1983, with writers, artists, critics and researchers born after 1950, is to create a space for spreading and promoting the work of the new generations.
