A resolution to support five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in the United Status was approved by the City Council of the city of San Pablo, State of California.
The document also recognizes the right of Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, Ramon Labañino, Fernando Gonzalez, and Rene Gonzalez to receive the visit of their relatives, CubaDebate website reported.
This is the third resolution approved in the area of the San Francisco Bay and the second motion was endorsed this year.
San Pablo, located in Contra Costa county, near the cities of Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco, has over 30,000 inhabitants, almost half the population of Spanish origin, although a high percent of them are African-Americans and Asians.
The website refers to a painting exhibition by Antonio Guerrero at the Smokebrush gallery in Colorado Spring, to remain open this month.
The work includes cats, birds, the Havana harbor, and the Colorado mountain ranges.
Guerrero, Labañino and Fernando Gonzalez are in the Federal Detention Center in Miami, a city where they will attend a hearing due to the re-sentence.
