Cuba AntiTerrorists Stamp in Bolivia
The Solidarity with Cuba Movement and Bolivian Postal Service (ECOBOL) canceled a stamp dedicated to the five anti terrorists in jail in the United States since 1998.

The Solidarity with Cuba Movement and Bolivian Postal Service (ECOBOL) canceled a stamp dedicated to the five anti terrorists in jail in the United States since 1998.
This initiative is added to the worldwide demand for the liberation of Ramon Labanino, Rene Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero, Gerardo Hernandez and Fernando Gonzalez.
The stamp issued in the National Congress headquarters reproduces the faces of The Five as they are known with a Cuban flag in the background.
During the ceremony the general manager of ECOBOL, Constancio Hugo Choque explained that the 30,000 stamps to be put into circulation will contribute to the universal demand of freedom for the Cuban compatriots.
The stamp represents 7.50 bolivars (a little over a dollar), the cost for any mail to the United States.
Choque took advantage of the opportunity to recognize the solidarity of Cuba for receiving 4,000 students in the Latin American School of Medicine.
For his part, the deputy of the government Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS), Antonio Peredo, offered references to the press of the trumped up trial against the Cuban anti terrorists by a Miami court.
Peredo explained that the only crime of The Five was to prevent terrorist groups based in Miami from organizing actions against the Island.
Cuban ambassador to Bolivia, Rafael Dausa thanked the gestures of solidarity in the country in favor of their liberation.
As an example of this struggle, even at governmental level, Dausa recalled a letter recently signed by President Evo Morales and ministers of his cabinet sent to US President Barack Obama requesting the liberation of The Five.
