Cuba, China at 23rd Intergovt. Commission

Cuban Council of Ministers Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas and Chinese Deputy Trade Minister Wang Chao lead the 23rd Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Economics and Trade. 

The parties assesse the advances made to the 22nd meeting, namely in finances, commercial relations and joint investment projects, and outlined a medium and long-term agenda. 

Friendship, understanding and respect characteristic of Sino-Cuban ties prevailed at the talks that also involved Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca and Ambassador to Cuba Liu Yuqin.
