Cuba condemned Thursday the manipulations that take place in the discussion of the fourth item of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC).
The Cuban delegate at the forum, Juan Antonio Quintanilla, stressed that the USA and its European allies do not get tire of repeating the same ideas and hypotheses to always question the South.
"These powers, at the same time, assure impunity for the bombing and killings of innocent civilians committed by NATO in Libya, Afghanistan or Iraq, while trying to reproduce the same situation in the case of Syria", said Quintanilla.
Later, Quintanilla denounced that lists of alleged human rights violations in the South are not sincere or legitimate.
Finally the Cuban representant stressed that the USA has no moral authority to criticize Cuba because "its record of human rights violations is just terrible".
