Cuba and the European Union (EU) are holding a meeting on cooperation aimed at boosting the development of normal bilateral ties.
In his opening address, Cuban Minister for Foreign Investments and Foreign Trade Rodrigo Malmierca said the parties now study each other and ID strategies.

Another commission analyzes natural disasters risk reduction, by making an analysis of the Cuba’s System of Civil Defense and the policy of the EU for the reduction of the impact of disasters.
The Cuban delegation will tackle social development in the Caribbean nation; meanwhile the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment will make a presentation on economic cooperation and trade.
Delegates and experts will debate over the agreements of Association with the European Union and will present the lecture entitled "Cuba, Economy and Commerce".
