Cuba Events Directory was presented today at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (FITUR) with about 150 pages covering conferences, festivals, conferences, workshops and symposia scheduled to take place in 2015.
The editor of the publication, which will have an annual basis, Mara Roque, said that this is a magazine project Buen Viaje (Good Trip) Cuba to provide information of interest to tour operators, travel agencies and other stakeholders.
The Board of events in Cuba, in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Russian languages has a printed version that will be distributed at the beginning of each year, but may be consulted on the website buenviajeacuba.com, Roque told Prensa Latina.
The publication includes information on the main venues for events, the calendar 2015 and advances of those with the mayor tourist and commercial attractions for 2016, Overview of Cuba, by provinces and hotel groups with capacity for events.
It may also be consulted data on transport, communications, medical and other necessary elements for organizing travel and stay in Cuba.
The digital version of Directory Events in Cuba includes mobile applications, both Android and IPhone.
Roque said that as Cuba is an important cultural plaza and a safe destination for travelers participating in events, they often are accompanied by family and this Directory is a tool to help organize parallel programs.
