Cuban ambassador to Bolivia Rafael Dausa highlighted Saturday the scopes of the 7th Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA) from October 16 to 17 in Cochamba city.
In statements to Prensa Latina, The diplomat emphasized economic issues that will be dealt with by the presidents of Ecuador, Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Honduras, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Antigua and Barbuda.
He underlined how strategic is the approval of the Unified System for Regional Compensation (SUCRE), the regional currency that would facilitate trade growth among nations of that integrating mechanism.
Bolivia will explain in depth the principles of the People's Trade Agreement (TCP), he said.
The TCP is a proposal defended by president Morales as a response to the exhaustion of the neoliberal model based on the market's deregulation, privatization and indiscriminate opening, promoted by the United States in South America.
He underlined the setting-up of the grand national importing exporting company ALBAIMEX, among other projects.
