Cuba Hosts Congress on Economic Management
Some 700 economists, executives, and experts from 25 countries, including Cuba, will participate in the International Congress on Management and Development in Havana Oct. 14-18, organizers said.

Some 700 economists, executives, and experts from 25 countries, including Cuba, will participate in the International Congress on Management and Development in Havana Oct. 14-18, organizers said.
About 300 of the expected participants are from Venezuela, Mexico, Brazil, the United States, Canada, Germany, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Bolivia, Spain, Germany, Guatemala, and other nations, said Ernan Sarmiento, vice president of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC).
Academics, representatives of the island's business system, and cooperatives, among others, will participate in this forum, which will also hold many events in parallel.
These are: the 9th International Meeting of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, the 3rd Meeting of Public Administration for Development, the 2nd Meeting on Cooperatives, and the 1st Meeting on Economic Theory and Development.
The theme of development will be discussed in three commissions from different angles, and include exhibitions related to the BRICS Group, and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States.
