Cuban Vice President Esteban Lazo greeted, on behalf of his government, a group of nationals working in Nicaragua.

Lazo -who headed Cuba's delegation to the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution- conveyed the message to doctors, teachers, computer specialists and diplomats at the Cuban Embassy.

He especially greeted 80 of those who helped Nicaragua become fourth member of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas to rid illiteracy.

Lazo was given details on the development of Operation Miracle, the ophthalmologic program that integrates health co-operation with the government of President Daniel Ortega.

Cuban Charge D'Affair Rene Ceballo reaffirmed the will to promote and honor the Cuban government and its solidarity.
