Cuba Links with Russia, Africa

Cuban President Raul Castro and the delegation that accompanied him on a tour that included Russia, Angola and Algeria, returned home at daybreak Tuesday.

The Caribbean nation's statesman was welcomed at the Jose Marti international airport by First Vicepresident Jose Ramon

Machado Ventura and other leaders, Granma newspaper reports today.

The successful tour the Cuban president concluded started January 28 and allowed fostering the political, economic and friendly ties with the governments and peoples of the Russia Federation, the Republic of Angola and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
