Cuba will present on Thursday its report during the third day of sessions of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to Granma news daily, the Cuban delegation attending the meeting is headed by Justice Minister Maria Esther Reus and also comprises of First Deputy Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla as well as representatives from the Cuban National Assembly (Parliament), the General Attorney's Office and several ministries and institutions.

The revolutionary triumph of January 1959 guaranteed that all Cuban citizens can fully enjoy their human rights today.

Cuba is attending this new meeting of the Human Rights Council with a solid record in favor of the promotion and protection of human rights in Cuba and abroad.

Cuba is convinced that respectful and sincere dialogue, based on impartiality and objectivity, is the key for international cooperation in the field of human rights.
