Cuban 5 Congratulate Fidel Castro
Cuban anti-terrorist fighters Rene Gonzalez, Fernando Gonzalez, and Gerardo Hernandez sent congratulatory messages from their prisons in the United States to Revolution leader Fidel Castro, who is celebrating Thursday his 83rd birthday.

Cuban anti-terrorist fighters Rene Gonzalez, Fernando Gonzalez, and Gerardo Hernandez sent congratulatory messages from their prisons in the United States to Revolution leader Fidel Castro, who is celebrating Thursday his 83rd birthday.
"Dear Fidel: I wish you today all the happiness in the world, as you deserve, and my desire to give you a revolutionary embrace," Fernando stated in his letter from the Federal Correctional Institution in Terre Haute, Indiana, Granma newspaper reported.
The Cuban fighter stressed, also on behalf of Ramon Labañino and Antonio Guerrero, how Fidel Castro's commitment with the people and humanity, expressed in his tireless struggle, has moved him.
Also moved him to read the document written by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, in which he describes his participation in the diplomatic battle carried out in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and learn his contribution to coordinate actions in respond to the reactionary military coup in that Central American country.
Gerardo, Rene, Ramon, Antonio and Fernando were convicted at a Miami trial, termed by international organizations and legal professionals as rigged, while their rights are being violated, included the arbitrary limitation of family visits.
The Five, as they are universally known, are currently serving harsh sentences in the United States, for preventing the Caribbean island from terrorist actions planned and carried out by anti-Cuban groups settled in Florida.
