The Cuban Five Arrive to El Salvador

The Cuban Five anti-terrorists arrived in El Salvador today where they were received by the parliamentarian and member of the FMLN political commission, Nidia Diaz, who welcome them at the international airport of this capital.
 
'Welcome to the Farabundoi Marti's land', expressed the political leader and also reiterated the happiness of the Salvadorian people who made the Cuban Five cause a flag of combat.
 
The fighters, along with their families arrived in El Salvador coming from Nicaragua, where they attended the ceremonies for the 36th anniversary of the Popular Sandinista Revolution.
 
There were also present, Cuba's ambassador in El Salvador, Iliana Fonseca, and part of the diplomatic corps accredited here and Raul Logan, who heads the Salvadoran Coordinator for Cuba Solidarity.
 
Gerardo Hernandez, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez thanked the words of welcome.
 
They will be received by President Salvador Sanchez Ceren, will visit the crypt of Blessed Archbishop Monsignor Romero, the grave of Shafik Handal,will lay a wreath at the bust of José Martí in the ring that bears his name in the capital and will have a meeting with students, solidarity committees at the University of El Salvador, among other activities.
