The 28th International Fair of Havana, FIHAV 2010, is shining the spotlight on Canada, Mexico, Argentina and Chile on Tuesday, and hosting the 97th meeting of the Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce board of directors.
Also on Tuesday, Cuba will hold three business meetings with Argentina, Mexico and Bolivia, according to organizing committee sources.
The fair is being attended by representatives from 57 nations and 1,857 foreign exhibitors, along with presidents and directors of chambers of commerce and business advocacy groups.
At the opening ceremony on Monday night, Rodrigo Malmierca, minister of foreign trade and investment, said the fair is an important forum for regional exchange.
