Cuban collaborators of the Antex corporation in Angola today ratified their commitment to fulfill their mission, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Garrisons on July 26, 1953.
During a political-cultural event to celebrate Cuba's National Rebellion Day in economics, the deputy director of Antex Angola, Carlos Sanchez, stressed the importance of the events of July 26, 1953, which marked the continuation of the work started by Jose Marti in order to achieve the truly independence.
Carlos Sanchez also mentioned teacher Raúl Gómez García, considered the poet of the Generation of the Centenary, who drafted the Manifesto to the Nation prior to the events of July 26.
The Manifesto captured the political thinking of that time's youth, who were committed to radically change the precarious situation prevailing in the country, Sanchez added.
