European Commissioner for External Relations Visits Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, July 23 (acn) The European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, will conduct a working visit to Cuba on Thursday. According to Granma newspaper, the Commissioner will meet with Cuban authorities to discuss the current state of bilateral relations between the Caribbean archipelago and European Union Commission and other topics of the multilateral agenda. Ferrero-Waldner is also and Austrian diplomat and politician. She is a member of the conservative Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP).
