Example of the Cuban Revolution Highlighted in Venezuela

The Vicepresident of the Social Area of Venezuela, Gladys Requena highlighted the example of the Cuban Revolution, which 57th anniversary will be celebrated this January 1. In a meeting with representatives of the different Cuban missions of cooperation to commemorate the anniversary, Requena said that Cuba is a beacon of hope, a symbol of what the true dignity of a people means.
 
She also stressed that at a time when the Bolivarian Revolution is threatened, to remember the legacy of that event led by Fidel Castro strengthens and allows to live, to walk in peace and fight for the common cause.
 
Requena led yesterday a cultural activity to pay tribute to this process, which was also attended by Youth and Sports Minister Pedro Infante.
 
In the gala at the National Library in Caracas, doctors, athletes, cultural instructors and representatives of all the missions of the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement Cuba-Venezuela were present also.
