The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People''s Army (FARC-EP) presented today in this capital several proposals to encourage political participation, real democratization, peace with social justice, and national reconciliation.
In a statement released by the insurgency team member to the peace talks,.Victoria Sandino, stated that the first item is to create institutional designs of participation in the cities for good living and urban social justice.
Sandino urged to develop a territorial order, to promote democratization, followed by guarantees and incentives for participation.
He also said that the Urban Councils of social participation will have a significant role in this process.
The fifth item is to deepen decentralization and political participation in the cities, also emphasized the need to establish a compensation fund to overcome social inequalities.
Sandino also considered imperative to take extraordinary measures to locations, areas, and slums in poverty and misery condictions.
