Fidel Castro honored as founder of 26th opf July Movement

Participants at the “60th Anniversary of the 26 of July Movement” Workshop granted a distinction to Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro, the intellectual Armando Hart Davalos and Pedro Miret Prieto, honoring them as founding members of the first National Directory of the 26th of July Movement, an organization that led the guerrilla fight against the Batista dictatorship.
 
The workshop was held in the Cuban capital, sponsored by the State Council's Historical Affairs Office.
