His name will remain eternally engraved in the history of humankind, stressed Ansari at a political-cultural event to pay posthumous tribute to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, at Havana's Revolution Square.

He noted that Fidel is one of the most outstanding revolutionaries at present. A person whose name is widely known in the world, not only as a Cuban fighter and independentist, but also as a revolutionary thinker and a liberator of all peoples of Latin America and the oppressed of the world.

Although this great man is not longer among us, he added, a crowd of people of all races, continents and beliefs will continue his thought and work, Ansari noted.

The vice president of Iran added that his nation, since the Islamic Revolution, has established an unswerving alliance with the anti-imperialist ideals of Commander Fidel.

In his speech, Ansari expressed Iran's respect, condolences and consideration to the relatives, the strong people and the revolutionary government of Cuba for the death of Commander Fidel Castro.

Today, the government and the people of Iran are sharing the loss of such an outstanding figure with the Cuban people, he expressed.
