The denunciation of physical tortures received in US military base in Guantanamo by one French citizen were received for the first time by Justice in France.
The man called Jaled Ben Mustafa who was imprisoned for three years at the Pentagon base illegally established in Cuban territory brought a lawsuit for tortures and brutality at Nanterre court, on the outskirt of Paris.
The demand was approved last July 23 and the investigation process will begin soon, emphasized his defense lawyer Philippe Meilhac who also added it is the first step in the way to justice.
According to the source Ben Mustafa was arrested in Pakistan, Afghanistan border after September 11, 2001 attacks and handed over to US authority.
After February 2002 he was sent to Guantanamo where he said was severely beaten, hanging with his hands by the roof and with a wet towel around him.
Two other ex prisioners of Guantanamo jail which closing was announced by President barrack Obama by 2010, Nizar Sassi and Lurad Benchelli, are waiting for the investigation of French examining magistrates since three years ago.
