countries, who participated at a Scientific Journalism Seminar, which wound up here on Wednesday.
The Haitian president wished success to all delegates at the event, hosted by the Jose Marti International Journalism Institute and sponsored by the United Nation Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO).
“This seminar is a great opportunity for improvement and you should take advantage of it” Preval told to his countryman Eugene Louicis Micius, from Minustrah-FM radio station.
Minustrah-FM radio station is one of the nearly 20 media outlets from the region that attended the event, which was also sponsored by the Cuban Science, Technology and Environment Ministry.
Other countries represented at the event included Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Jamaica, Guatemala, Ecuador, Chile, Guyana and the Dominican Republic.
Rene Preval participated at the 3rd Cuba- CARICOM Summit of Heads of State and Government, held last Monday in eastern Santiago de Cuba city.
