The main Panamanian media websites today made reports on the article of Cuban leader Fidel Castro entitled Brother Obama, and all of them coincide in highlighting the expression "we don''t need the empire to give us anything."
El Siglo daily used "Fidel Castro is in the vanguard in Cuban attack against Obama," as headline and made reference to the words used by Fidel to describe US President Barack Obama' message: "a speech in which the most honeyed words are used."
In its website, Telemetro television channel showed the band: "Cuba does not need the U.S. to give it anything," and then recalled that Obama urged in a live speech on the Cuban Television: " it is time to forget about the past, let's leave the past behind, look at the futuren together, a future of hope."
The television channel also quoted part of the article in which the Cuban leader added: "Nobody build hopes that the people of this modest and selfless country will relinquish to glory and rights, and the spiritual wealth it has gained with thd development of the education, science, and cuture."
The TVN channel also made echo in its website of the article entitled: Fidel Castro responds to Obama: "Cuba does not need presents from the empire.
"The Cuban leader broke his silence about the visit of US president, Barack Obama, to the Caribbean country, with an article in which he stresses that Cuba does not need presents from the empire, and criticizes the historical omissions in the speech Obama gave to the Cuban people about the links between the two countries." said the report.
Fidel makes clear that Obama's speech did not mention the about 60-year-old savage blockade, and questioned about the people who died in the mercenary attacks to Cuban ships and ports, the explosion of a mid-flight airplane full of passengers, mercenary invasions, mutile acts of violence, reported the source.
