Parents of Surinamese students in Cuba support the campaign of international solidarity with the anti terrorist Cuban heroes (internationally known as the Cuban Five).
On 12 September 2008, it is ten years that the Cubans Gerardo Hernandez, René González, Fernando González, Antonio Guerrero and Ramón Labañino
are imprisoned in American prisons for working against terrorist groups that have their base in Florida.
We can not support with the biased trial these patriots received and we downright condemn this unlawful act. Together with millions of other people in the world among whom the American National Committee for the release of the ‘Cuban Five’ and all its supporters, we as parents support the international campaign for the release of the ‘Five’.
