The Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau Carlos Gomes is expected to arrive on Sunday in Cuba for a state visit, invited by the Cuban goverment.
The African Premier is scheduled to hold oficial talks with the First Vice President of the State and Minister Councils of Cuba, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, according to a press report published by Juventud Rebelde daily.
During his stay in Cuba Gomes will visit places of historic and social interest.
Guinea Bissau is a western African country and one of the smallest in Africa. It has borders with Senegal to the north, and Guinea to the south and east, and with the Atlantic Ocean to its west.
