Regional Veterinary Sciences Congress, Panvet 2014,Concludes

Aimed at promoting progress in veterinary science and practice, and achieving national and international resonance through a high scientific quality program, the 24th Pan-American "Panvet" Congress concludes here today, with the participation of hundreds of veterinary medicine academics and professionals.
Labiofam Business Group director, Dr. Antonio Fraga, will give a keynote speech today entitled "Development of the Cuban industry of veterinary medicines," to experts from 26 regional countries and veterinary associations throughout Asia, Africa and Europe, attending the Pan-American Congress on Veterinary Sciences, Panvet 2014.
The Third Meeting of Clinical and Veterinary Surgery - one of the parallel events - with a program of lectures by speakers from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, the United States, Italy and Cuba, will also be carried out today.
Other events concluding today are the Scientific Session of the Ibero-American Association of Veterinary Sciences, the Fourth Meeting on Parasitology, and the Third Anglo-Cuban Veterinary Conference.
The 24th Pan-American Congress on veterinary Sciences "Panvet 2014," which started on Monday, October 6, at Havana's Conference Center, presented 1,274 research papers in 20 working sessions, five specialized events and three professional meetings parallel to the Congress.
