Renzi Opens Cuban-Italian Business Forum

The President of Italian Council of Ministers, Matteo Renzi, opened here today a bilateral business forum, which will seek to explore trade and investment opportunities.
 
Renzi, who is accompanied by a large group of businessmen, arrived in Cuba yesterday, from Colombia, after also visiting Chile and Peru.
 
The Cuban-Italian relationships are cordial and stable, with prospects to be expanded and deepened.
 
The European country has been an active participant at the Havana International Fair, whose 33rd edition will be held next week at Expocuba exhibition site, attended by exhibitors from more than 70 nations.
 
Since 1995, Italy has voted in favor of the resolution of the UN General Assembly on the U.S. blockade against Cuba.
