A Cuban commercial mission explored here with business people from Saudi Arabia concrete opportunities and potentialities to develop businesses between companies from both countries, diplomatic sources from the Caribbean nation reported today.
The general director of Foreign Trade Managerial Group, Aurelio Mollineda Martinez, who met with authorities from the Saudi Fund for Development, and managers from other industrial groups in the Wahhabi Kingdom, led the Cuban delegation.
A note from the Cuban embassy in Riyadh stated that the exchange was part of efforts to promote the economic and cooperation ties between the Caribbean country and the Arab nation.
Mollineda and his commission also toured areas of economic and industrial development in the eastern Saudi province.
Gecomex is an entity founded in June 2013, as a result of the updating of the Cuban economic model, to achieve the separation of state functions of businesses.
