If I could vote at the United Nations concert, I would do it with my two hands raised against an action like that of disdain to human life, unacceptable and shameful, Cordoba told Prensa Latina.
Cordoba said that some hundreds of peoples weary of the U.S. imperialist policies and oppression joined to this cause.
We are thousands of men and women who love Cuba due to its dignity and sovereignty, thousands who yearn for that that more than 50-year blockade, only guaranteed by those who thrive on trade, finished by fall, she said.
Large sectors of the Colombian civil society, youth organizations, politicians, and intellectuals have condemned the U.S. blockade on Cuba, described as a massive violation of human rights.
Cuba will again present a resolution to the United Nations tomorrow, demanding the end to that hostility.
