President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez will receive Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadineja on Wednesday in this capital to strengthen binational links through new agreements that will be added to the 270 signed in the last years.
Technological, economic, scientific and cultural issues are part of the cooperation instruments planned to broaden the Caracas-Teheran exchange, according to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister Nicolas Maduro welcomed Ahmadinejad, who ends here a South American tour that also included Brazil and Bolivia, yesterday at Maiquetía International Airport.
The agreements related to the energy area for oil exploration in the Orinoco Belt as well as the agro industrial ones that are directed to move forward regarding food security are notable among the already signed agreements.
The joint projects in finances, telecommunications, manufacturing industry, health and biotechnology are also notable.
We have created a solid base to build our own path and that is the reason the people, who do not want our example to have an impact on other peoples, attack us, he said.
The Minister also highlighted the current simultaneous implementation of 70 agreements.
