Vietnam and Cuba opened today the 31st session of its Intergovernmental Committee with the common purpose of raising economic relations at the same level than the policies, from potentials and opportunities of cooperation.
Vietnamese Construction Minister Ding Dung Tinh and Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, converged on emphasizing that perspective in some bilateral ties that can grow even more.
This meeting follows the signing last month of a memorandum of understanding to draw for three days the cooperation strategy at mid term.
Din Dung stressed that such effort responds to the will of the parties, governments and the State from both countries, and referred to agriculture, science and technology, public health, fishing, and tourism, among other areas of Vietnamese interest.
On the other hand, Malmierca, after sharing that expectation, thanked the host government for its support in the record of many Cuban biotechnology drugs.
