• Conversation held with Carlos Salinas de Gortari, President of Mexico, at the presidential residence.
• Meeting with Carlos Salinas de Gortari, President of Mexico, and Cesar Gaviria, President of Colombia. Welcome dinner at the presidential residence.
• Exchange with the press on his way out from the welcome dinner, at the presidential residence.

• Fidel attended the presidential summit of the G-3 (Mexico, Venezuela and Colombia).
• Press conference granted to national and foreign journalists (Imevision, Newsweek, Notimex, The Economist, EFE, and La Jornada) at the Melia Hotel.
