Portuguese Authorities of the Agueda industrial center, region of Aveiro, received information about the Economic Development Zone of Mariel, Cuba , and its potential for increasing bilateral trade.
The president of the Municipal Chamber of Agueda, Gil Nadais received information from Cuba 's ambassador in Portugal, Johana Tablada, who responded to an invitation from entrepreneurs interested in updated business opportunities on the island.
The diplomat said the new perspectives that project opens for trade and investment between Cuba and Portugal economic relations.
She said that the economic zone Mariel aims to promote activities related to the port, real estate, tourism, maritime industry, technological innovations, logistics, agriculture, production and service .
Tablada also received information about Agatha experience in creating a major industrial park in the area with high concentration of companies in metallurgy, building materials, transportation, motors and other industrial branches.
