Members of the Revolutionary Communist Group of the United Kingdom concluded a solidarity visit to Cuba, where they visited schools, and sports, cultural and health centers.
In statements to Prensa Latina, Samantha Cordery, who traveled to Cuba for the second time, said she was very moved by the work of the Revolution.
This is a concrete process and we can notice the achievements in science, in the access to public health, education and sports, said Cordery on behalf of the brigade, established in 1995.
Cuba is an example that inspires us in our political and educational work in the United Kingdom, where public opinion knows little or is unaware of the advances in many areas in this small Caribbean nation.
Currently, we promote the campaign of solidarity Rock Around the Blockade. Thus, we demand an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States for over half a century on Cuba, said the activist.
