Cuba, Jamaica Strengthen Construction Ties

Cuban businessmen and Jamaican authorities reviewed this week their ties in the field of construction during meetings held in Kingston, as reported in this capital today.

According to a press release from the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UNECA and Quality business managers exchanged at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Housing of Jamaica about the technical assistance provided by Havana in the sector.

Visitors also met in Kingston with senior executives of the Chamber of Commerce, who provided information about the services UNECA offers in the construction sector, the source said.

Cuba and Jamaica have also developed cooperation in health and education.
