The Cuban National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INRH) of Cuba will sign today an agreement with South Africa, to enhance bilateral cooperation.
Ines Maria Chapman, president of the INRH and member of the Council of State of Cuba met yesterday with physicians, collaborators of the sphere of construction, and diplomats on that Caribbean island about INRH projections and economic issues.
In the introduction of the talk, Cuban ambassador to South Africa Carlos Fernandez de Cossio said that the agreement she will sign today is a new leap in the bilateral relationship.
Chapman explained that a new path is plotted in the development of the water sector with a diagnosis of the current situation and the design of a law to regulate the exploitation and use of the vital liquid.
In the international field, she stated that the INRH seeks to improve incomes and in this regard it has already reached arrangements for the work of experts in Angola (47), Venezuela (10), Algeria (8), and South Africa (11), as of the signing of the agreement today.
After completing her visit here on Wednesday, September 11, Chapman will travel to China, in this case to concrete advice agreements with Asia, while at the end of her tour of France, she will appreciate the technological experiences in sanitation works.
