Several Egyptian newspapers published today a message of condolences sent by Cuban President Raul Castro for the victims of a railroad accident in which children were killed on Sat. Nov. 17, in the city of Assiut.
The message, addressed to Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and the families of the victims, expresses the sorrow of the Cuban government and people for the loss of lives in the catastrophe, resulting in the deaths of 51 people, mostly children from six to eight years of age.
The journal Youm7 and the website timesoffummah insert images of the tragedy and the text of the message.
Other journals publishing President Raul Castro's messages included Akhbarmisr, Al Akhbar, Akhbaraknet, AlWatan, Akhbarna and Akher Saat, all in Arab language.
The repercussion of the message started as soon as its content was released by official media.
