Cuban Vice President Receives Pakistani Top Legislator

Cuban First Vice President José Ramón Machado Ventura received today the Senate Speaker of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Syed Nayyer Hussain Bohkari, who is on a state visit to the Island at the invitation of the National Assembly of the People's Power of Cuba (Parliament).

In the meeting, both leaders reviewed the state of bilateral relations and exchanged views on the international situation.

In this regard, Machado Ventura informed the visitor on the process of updating the Cuban economic model.

The meeting was also attended by President of the National Assembly of the People's Power, Ricardo Alarcon, and Pakistani Ambassador Qazi Mohammad Khalilullah.
