Raúl Castro Welcomes Mexican Leader

Cuban President Raul Castro welcomed Beatriz Paredes, president of the Mexican Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) and vice president of the Socialist International, who is on a working visit to this country. 

In their meeting at the Conference Center on Wednesday, the two leaders talked about the current state of relations between the two parties, as well as other international issues, Cuba's nightly TV news program reported. 

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez also attended the meeting.
