The international campaign of solidarity with the five Cubans imprisoned in the US was highlighted Tuesday in the Chinese capital, on the occasion of Jurists'' Day.
During an activity grouping Chinese and Cuban jurists at the Cuban mission in Beijing, ambassador Carlos Miguel Pereira said the campaign intensifies the world demand for the release of the Five.
The presence here of Chinese students, lawyers, academics, and artists is a confirmation that we are not alone in this long battle, and can count on the solidarity of our Chinese brothers, the diplomat noted.
