Civil aviation authorities from Cuba and Yemen are reviewing today the agreement allowing overflight and landing rights for commercial, passenger transport and mail, a diplomatic source reported.
Cuban ambassador here, David Paulovich, met with the president of the Yemeni Civil Aviation Authority, Mohamed Abdulrahman Abdulkadir,
who expressed interest in expanding and strengthening collaboration with the Cuba's Civil Aeronautics Institute.
Both institutions signed an agreement in 1978, where new items will be included for the development of ties in this sphere, the informant said.
The new document will facilitate both sides to expand and develop relations between the Cuban and Yemeni aviation companies, regarding ticket sales, promotions and other facilities.
The head of the Cuban embassy expressed his satisfaction for this proposal that will contribute to deepen even more the ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries and peoples.
